Astrum Guitar Duo - The Civic Mayor of Tameside’s Lunchtime Concert Series

Astrum Guitar Duo appears by kind permission of the Royal Northern College of Music.

The Civic Mayor of Tameside is hosting a series of Classical Music Concerts at the Town Hall, Ashton-under-Lyne in aid of his Mayoral Charity Appeal Fund.

The concerts will be held on four consecutive Friday afternoons and will feature a superb range of highly talented performers.

Tickets are priced at just £3 and can be purchased from Ashton Town Hall, Tameside Tourist Information Centre and the Mayor’s Office.

All proceeds from the concerts will be donated to the Mayor’s Charity which is dedicated to helping local charities and voluntary organisations.

Every 3rd Tuesday of the month Tameside's Resident Paranormal Group invite you with a warm welcome, as this is our way of getting to know you and for you to meet like-minded people. There is no membership fee but you must be over 18 to attend In our effort in Keeping The Paranormal Friendly, we have other paranormal groups attend our meetings as well new faces, amongst our regular guest. During the night we will briefly telling you of our forthcoming events and our technical guys will be on hand to help you familiarise yourself with some of the equipment we use on locations, as you will be using them when you join us our investigations.

We will be showing footage captured from past investigations for you to try and explain and there will be a chance for you to get involved in some paranormal experiments. Anyone wishing to bring photos etc they may of caught on past investigations they have been on, then please do so to share with everyone. Also you can share any stories you may have of your experiences whilst on locations, be it with us or another group. All this plus much more. Any views and ideas you may have will be welcome, as this is your group too. Why not make a night of it and have a meal in the restaurant, then join us downstairs in the bar for a great evening. Tameside Networking Club

Businesses will get a taste of the East at the next meeting of Tameside Networking Club. The club will meet at the Indian Ocean Restaurant in Ashton on March 18.

The event will start at 5pm with informal networking and refreshments followed by a topical presentation and more formal networking. Those who attend will also have the opportunity to promote their business.
